Pete Morton

Pete, a proud Melburnian and father of two daughters, knows firsthand the life-changing impact of exceptional care and support. One day, his world was turned upside down when doctors discovered a fist-sized tumour in his brain. Pete fell into a coma for two weeks and was cared for by the incredible nurses and staff at Alfred.

During his recovery, Pete’s journey with Alfred didn’t end there. He was later diagnosed with a heart condition by a cardiologist at the hospital. These experiences profoundly impacted Pete, fostering a deep gratitude for the life-saving care he received.

In a heartfelt discussion with his two daughters, aged 20 and 21, Pete shared his desire to give back to the organisation that stood by him in his toughest moments. Together, they decided to leave a gift in their Wills to the Alfred Foundation, ensuring future patients and families benefit from the same compassion and expertise that transformed their lives.

Through their generosity, Pete and his daughters are not only expressing their gratitude but also creating a legacy of care and hope for generations to come.
