What is Include a Charity?
Include a Charity (IAC) is a social change campaign of Fundraising Institute Australia. Our broader, public campaign goal is to encourage more people to leave a gift in their Will, increasing the funds invested in the charitable sector and thereby increasing the positive impact these organisations have on our society.
We are a collaboration of many of Australia’s charities that have joined forces to promote gifts in Wills to dramatically increase revenues for the work of the charitable sector. We cover a broad spectrum of causes, from medical research, education, animal welfare, the environment, the arts and more. We facilitate Gifts in Wills training, undertake market research and campaign within the legal community to encourage legal professionals to initiate conversations about charitable gifts during the Will making process. “Being a member of Include A Charity has opened so many doors. It’s given me an opportunity to connect with some of Australia’s leading Gifts in Wills fundraisers as well as access international learnings, research findings and education opportunities. Include A Charity is an exceptional resource for fundraisers and I encourage fellow FIA organisational members to join me in supporting this powerful movement for change that is normalising conversations about the impact of leaving a charitable gift in your Will.” |
