Save the Children’s programs always put children first. We reach children in the toughest places and during the most extreme humanitarian emergencies. Where children are being exploited, neglected or abused, we protect them from harm.

Save the Children Australia manages and implements programs that assist children around the world and in Australia. We work in partnership with local communities, all levels of government, other NGOs, community and advocacy groups, corporate partners and individual donors to create change for children, families and their communities.

Save the Children Australia works in 20 countries to deliver evidence-based programs that reach girls and boys, families and communities. These programs focus on health, education and protecting children. We prioritise those who are the most in need – women and girls, children with disabilities, refugees and those persecuted because of their religion, sexuality, socio-economic status or ethnicity.

Save the Children Australia has been working in Australia for over 100 years with the aim of making sure all Australian children have the capabilities, connections and confidence for success in their future, regardless of their background, location or circumstances.
