Glaucoma Australia is dedicated to saving the eyesight of more Australians, ensuring they receive the emotional care and practical support they need to manage this chronic eye disease. We also fund some of the most brilliant minds in Australian research to improve detection and treatments that prevent further vision loss and improve the patients’ quality of life.

Sight is our most precious and valued sense. It is how we experience the world and plays a crucial role in all areas of life. But 1 in 50 Australians will develop glaucoma and could go blind without immediate intervention and ongoing management.

People living with glaucoma have dramatically better eye health outcomes when supported by Glaucoma Australia. We are also helping to get one step closer to a cure by funding glaucoma research through our William A Quinlivan Research Grant Program.
