The Motor Neurone Disease Association of WA

The Motor Neurone Disease Association of Western Australia (MNDAWA) provides vital care and support services for people living with MND, their carers and their families. MND is a progressive neurological condition that attacks the motor neurones (nerves). This disease is diagnosed in people of all ages, men and women. Currently there is no cure, however symptoms can be managed to help the person achieve the best possible quality of life.

MNDAWA offers care coordination, allied health services and emotional support, understanding that MND progresses differently in every individual.

MNDAWA relies heavily on the generosity and strength of the community to assist in increasing awareness and understanding of MND. With this support, the Association can continue to offer specialised care and support services for families living with MND.
