The Queensland Museum Foundation (ABN 71 409 081 264) is a registered charity which raises essential funds to support the work of Queensland Museum.

Queensland Museum is custodian of the state’s natural and cultural heritage and includes four museums—Queensland Museum Kurilpa, Brisbane; Queensland Museum The Rail Workshops, Ipswich; Queensland Museum Cobb+Co, Toowoomba; Queensland Museum Tropics, Townsville. Our extraordinary collections include more than 15 million specimens and objects, irreplaceable treasures that tell the changing story of Queensland.

Queensland Museum presents engaging exhibitions and in-depth educational experiences, delivering expert scientific and cultural research to deepen understanding of Queensland’s natural environment, social history, and First Nations cultures. Through long-term conservation and digitisation, we are preserving the collections for future generations to experience.
