Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation

“Treat them as if they were your own; your clinical commitment should be nothing less than perfection... your commitment to them should be nothing less than absolute.” Professor John Beveridge, AO

John Beveridge was a passionate and determined advocate for children’s health. He was also the driving force behind Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick.

His vision was to create a dedicated children’s hospital, where world-class paediatric specialists would be able to give every sick child the best possible care.

When you remember Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick in your Will, you’re helping to keep that vision alive. After looking after your own family and friends, you’ll be amazed at what a gift in your Will can do.

Your support means babies don’t need to fight for their lives on their own. Babies like Avyan, who contracted tuberculous meningitis and spent two weeks in our Intensive Care Unit. Vital equipment saved Avyan’s life.

Your generosity means our children can receive the most pioneering treatment.

Children like Grace, who had a stroke at the age of four and needed delicate surgery using microfine surgical tools to remove a dangerous blood clot in her brain.

Your gift could help to fund the innovative research and clinical trials that offer a lifeline to children with rare illnesses and life-threatening conditions and help us improve cure rates for kids with cancer.

Like Kini, who was born without a working immune system and needed a bone marrow transplant. When no match could be found for Kini, specialists at our Kids Cancer Centre created a new immune system using a complex procedure never attempted before in Australia.

Every year, Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick cares for more than 45,800 children.

A gift in your Will is a powerful way to help the kids who need urgent help now, and those who will rely on our Hospital in the future. It’s a gift of hope to children and parents everywhere.
